Ask Orivana

A reading tells you what a card means. It does not tell you what the card means for the thing you are actually dealing with. That gap is what we are building next, and this page exists to say plainly that it is not built yet.

Not open yet. Every tool on this site works today and runs in your browser. Interpretation is still being built, and we would rather say so than ship something that guesses.

How it would work

01

You draw, or you enter your birth data

The engine produces the structured result first: cards and positions, degrees and houses, a hexagram and its moving lines, a number and its arithmetic. That part already works and runs in your browser.

02

The published meaning is retrieved, not invented

Interpretation would be written against the pages already on this site, so it cannot drift into something no book ever said. A model that generates card meanings from nothing is the failure mode this whole site is built against.

03

You keep asking

Follow-up questions in your own words, with the reading held in context, so you are not re-explaining the spread each time.

The kind of question it is for

The Lovers came up reversed for a decision about work, not a relationship. What then?
My Moon is in Scorpio and my Sun is in Libra. Do those contradict each other?
I got hexagram 23 with a moving fifth line. Which reading applies?
Both Life Path methods gave me a different number. Which page should I read?

Hear when it opens

One message when it opens, and nothing else. No newsletter.

What this will not be

It will not predict. It will not tell you what another person is thinking. It will not give medical, legal or financial advice, and it will not be a substitute for anyone qualified to give those.

What it is meant to do is narrower and duller than the word interpretation usually implies: take a result the tools here already compute, retrieve the meanings this site has already published for it, and hold them together against a question you asked in your own words. The meanings would be looked up rather than generated, so it cannot drift into something no book ever said. If that turns out not to be possible without inventing, it does not ship.
