The short version: the readings happen in your browser, and what you type into them never reaches us.
The tarot reading, and every calculator on this site, runs entirely in your browser. The question you type, any birth date or birth time, and any name you enter are used by code running on your own device and are never transmitted to a server. We could not read them if we wanted to.
Refreshing or closing the page discards them. Nothing is kept between visits unless you copy a link yourself.
When you copy the link to a spread, the number that generated the draw is written into the URL, along with the question if you typed one. That link contains whatever you put in it. If you paste it somewhere public, your question goes with it. That is the one place on this site where something you typed can travel, and it only travels because you chose to send it.
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages receives ordinary request information: the address you asked for, your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, and the page you arrived from. This is how the web works rather than a choice we made, and it is used to serve pages and to keep the site running.
The site does not require an account and does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Two things are written to your own browser, and both stay there.
The first is the notebook. When a reading is drawn, cast or calculated, the tool keeps a copy of it in your browser's own database so that you can find it again later and so the tools can point out patterns across several readings. It holds the cards or lines or numbers, the question you typed if you typed one, and the link that reopens it.
The second is your birth details, and only if you tick the box that offers to remember them. That box exists because the birth chart, the transits, the Life Path calculator and the tarot reading all work from the same date, and asking for it four times is not privacy, it is just friction. What is kept is the date, the time if you gave one, the birthplace with its coordinates and time zone, and the name if you entered one for the name numbers.
Neither of these is sent anywhere, because there is nowhere to send them: the calculations run in your browser and the pages are static. Untick the box and the birth details are deleted immediately. The erase button under the notebook on any tool page removes everything, both the notebook and the remembered details, and clearing site data in your browser does the same. Nothing survives that on any machine of ours, because it was never on one.
The Ask page has a waiting list. If you put an email address into it, that address is stored, along with which of the five systems you said you would ask about. That is the only thing on this site that collects anything, and it only collects it because you typed it in and pressed the button.
What happens to it: one message when the thing opens, and nothing else. It is not a newsletter, it is not sold or shared, and it is not joined up with anything else. If you want it removed before then, say so and it is removed.
Fonts and images are served from the site's own domain wherever possible. Apart from the waiting list above, we do not sell, rent or share anything about visitors, because there is nothing else collected to share.
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what happens to what you type, the change will be described on this page rather than announced as a version bump.
