The short version: the readings happen in your browser, and what you type into them never reaches us.
The tarot reading, and every calculator on this site, runs entirely in your browser. The question you type, any birth date or birth time, and any name you enter are used by code running on your own device and are never transmitted to a server. We could not read them if we wanted to.
Refreshing or closing the page discards them. Nothing is kept between visits unless you copy a link yourself.
When you copy the link to a spread, the number that generated the draw is written into the URL, along with the question if you typed one. That link contains whatever you put in it. If you paste it somewhere public, your question goes with it. That is the one place on this site where something you typed can travel, and it only travels because you chose to send it.
Like any website, the server that delivers these pages receives ordinary request information: the address you asked for, your IP address, your browser's user-agent string, and the page you arrived from. This is how the web works rather than a choice we made, and it is used to serve pages and to keep the site running.
The site does not require an account and does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Where the browser stores anything at all it is a small convenience local to your device, such as remembering a preference, and it never leaves your browser.
Fonts and images are served from the site's own domain wherever possible. We do not sell, rent or share anything about visitors, because there is nothing collected to share.
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what happens to what you type, the change will be described on this page rather than announced as a version bump.
