It casts your chart with the same engine as the birth chart page — astronomy-engine for the positions, the site's own code for the angles, houses and aspects — so the two pages can never show you two different charts.
Then it names what it is reading, because a chart holds more than one reading can carry. Seven things: the Sun and Moon by sign, the rising sign, the ruler of the rising sign, the houses the Sun and Moon fall in, and the two tightest aspects touching any of them. Houses are whole sign. That selection is Orivana's, not the tradition's, so it is listed on screen rather than presented as though it were the whole chart.
Without a birth time there is no ascendant and no houses, so neither is included and neither is implied — the reading falls back to the Sun and Moon by sign and says so. The birth chart tool draws the whole wheel with every aspect, three house systems to compare, and dignities — unlimited, and none of it leaves your browser. The astrology entries cover each sign, planet, house and aspect at length. A reading is for holding a handful of placements against one question, not for replacing either of those.
The commonest is expecting the reading to cover the whole chart. It covers seven placements, named on the page, and it is written that way on purpose: a reading that gestured at thirty placements in five hundred words would be saying nothing about any of them.
The second is treating a birth time as optional detail. It moves the ascendant by about a degree every four minutes; an hour of uncertainty can move it a whole sign, and with it every house in the chart.
